In order to best treat our clients, Serenity Now, CMHC offers various substance abuse and mental health services and levels of care to best fit the needs of each client. Ranging from our partial hospitalization program to our outpatient program, Serenity Now, CMHC offers a range of mental health services and programs to fit the needs and schedules of our clients.
Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) with community housing offers the most rigorous treatment for our clients. Although it is not as intense as residential treatment, our partial hospitalization program with community housing, also referred to as “day/night treatment” offers a rigorous treatment program for those struggling with mental health issues and/or substance abuse. At this level of care, clients have the option to live in a structured living facility (community housing) with transportation to and from our clinical treatment center.
Offered as a step-down from our PHP program, Serenity Now’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides a comprehensive, part-time program to fit the needs and work/family schedules of our clients. In our IOP, clients receive individual counseling and group counseling. Our IOP focuses on helping our clients make the transition from a more intensive treatment program to sober living.
Serenity Now’s Outpatient Program is ideal for individuals who do not require detoxification, intensive psychotherapy, or 24-hour supervision due to extenuating circumstances regarding their physical or mental health. Outpatient therapy lacks the intensive structure and safety found in residential treatment programs or partial hospitalization programs; thus, this type of treatment is not meant for everyone. Individuals struggling with serious mental health issues and/or substance abuse are not ideal clients for outpatient therapy. Rather, outpatient therapy is best for clients who have completed a residential, PHP, and/or IOP program and are looking to continue on with therapy.
We assess each client when they arrive at Serenity Now, CMHC to determine the most appropriate level of care. Our various substance abuse and mental health services ensure that every client will receive the best possible care for their individualized needs.
